It was really nice experience there.. We enjoyed a lot for more than three hours in the evening. The sunset view is awesome. If we order food in advance, they will provide us good homely food with seafood items.. The cost of boating and everythng also is affordable... Thanks to Praveen.. Being the second largest Lake in Kerala, this place is a must visit. Sunrise and Sunset are best timings for boating as the views will be worth watching. The beauty of this place is that there are natural structures formed by mangroove trees. The boat guy Praveen(now a Friend of us!:) is a real good company and is very good a photography. He had clicked some good pictures of us. He had also guided us to a good restaurants where we had sea food.

The Island is Awesome with cool photographic sceneries. This boating service costs 500Rs per hour. We almost spent 2.5 Hours, still they charged 1000Rs. The person accompanying us knew Malayalam understand Tamil well. They also do Pre/Post wedding shoots, Not sure about thier charges.

The boating service is available in day time as well as night time. At night time,the silence at the island seems to be adventurous. Best time suggested visit the island is 5 Am in the morning, so that you will be able to experience the dim light space, and do enjoy the sunrise. A maximum of 7 people can accompany on a boat. The price is doesnt depend upon Head count.
